Tanya Ruddy, Physical Therapist,MPT, MTC Clinic Manger Tanya graduated from the University of Michigan – Flint with her Bachelor of Science in Biology, Bachelor of Health Sciences, and Masters of Physical Therapy. She has worked in an outpatient orthopedic setting since 1996. Most recently, she was a senior therapist at a multidisciplinary spine care center where she worked or 5 years. She recently completed her Manual Therapy Certification through the University of St. Augustine. Tanya also has an interest in pediatrics and has taken several courses in this area since the birth of her twin daughters: Eva and Ella. They enjoy spending time with family, traveling, and boating. |

Odette Shaheen, Physical Therapy Assistant, CLT Odette received her degree from Baker College’s Physical Assistant Program in 1996. She has experience working in hospitals, home health, outpatient, inpatient rehab and skilled nursing facilities. Recently, Odette earned her certification in Comprehensive Lymphedema Management for American Health Care. She is the proud mother of 5 children. Odette enjoys line and ballroom dancing, and spending time with her family. She is excited to be living and working in Northern Michigan! |

Mollie Coe, Athletic Trainer Mollie, an Indian River native, recently completed an internship at NMSMC of Charlevoix and is returning to IRPT after graduating from CMU with her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training/Sports medicine. Recently, Mollie earned a certification as a Level 1 CrossFit Trainer. In her free time, Mollie enjoys biking, working out, shopping and spending time in warmer climates. She hopes to return to school in the future to obtain her Masters and eventfully work in a college setting. |

Elaine M. Thompson, Physical Therapy Aide Elaine has worked in the medical related field since she was seventeen. She lives in Topinabee and has three children: Sherman, Tom , and Amanda. She joined Indian River Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine in December 2004. Elaine is certified by the American heart Association in CPR/AED. She also has her CENA certification. She enjoys working with patients and loves living in northern Michigan. |
| Kelly Kolb, Front Desk Assistant Kelly joined the staff in 2010 and brought with her a great wealth of experience. She holds a Marketing degree from Ferris State and has worked as a fitness instructor, coach and an Athletic secretary. Kelly is very active in Beyond the Scoreboard program which promotes pro-active coaching and character training. Kelly and her husband, Pat, have three children and enjoys tennis, reading, core class, family and attending their church. |

Rebecca D. Somerville, Front Desk Manager Rebecca has worked in the medical field since high school. She came to work at IRPT&SM in 2001. Rebecca enjoys working with people. She and her husband, Dave, have two beautiful boys, Zachary and Zephen. Her hobbies include, hiking, camping, fishing, photography, and horses. |
