Sandy Willoughby, Physical Therapist, CSCS Sandy joined NMSMC in 2006 after moving here from the Ann Arbor area. She finished her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan in 1992 and has been in outpatient orthopedics since that time. Sandy became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist in 2002. As a mother of two, Sandy has a special interest in helping women during their childbearing years by offering prenatal and postpartum exercise classes and treating any pregnancy/postpartum physical therapy clients. She is currently living in the Brutus area with her husband and two daughters enjoying small farming, camping, hiking, and snowshoeing. |

Adam Ancel MS, ATC Adam, originally from Alma, graduated from Lake Superior State University in 2007 with his bachelor's degree in Athletic Training. Adam continued his education at Illinois State University and graduated with a master's degree in Kinesiology in 2009. While at ISU, Adam focused on manual therapy and also became a Certified Graston Practitioner. Adam's past experiences include working as an athletic trainer for the Prairie Thunder of the International Hockey League, Miami University's summer hockey program, and as an orthopedic physician extender. When Adam isn't working in the clinic, he also provides athletic training services to the Petoskey High School athletics. In his spare time Adam enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, sports, working out, and hopes to complete a half Ironman Triathlon in the near future. |
| Patty Schmoldt, Certified Athletic Trainer, CSCS Patty is a native of northern Michigan, growing up in the area and graduating from Boyne City High School. After high school, she attended Central Michigan University where she earned her Sports Medicine Degree and became a Certified Athletic Trainer. Patty worked in the Detroit Metro area providing clinical rehabilitation and high school athletic event coverage before returning to Northern Michigan in 2001. When she isn't covering PHS athletic events, Patty enjoys playing hockey and softball as well as mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, camping, horseback riding, and snowmobiling. |

Mellissa Troup, Physical Therapist Assistant Melissa joined our staff summer of 2008. She received her Bachelor degree in Biology/Recreational Leadership from Greenville College in southern IL in 2006. She went back to school to receive a Physical Therapy Assistant degree from Baker College of Muskegon in 2008. She is a southern girl at heart but loves the beauty of Northern Michigan where she resides with her husband. |
| Denise Muha , Office Assistant Denise was born in Iowa, raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Graduated from a small UP school after coming from a much larger one in Kenosha - culture shock! She attended Bay de Noc Community College in Escanaba. She has been married to Dan for 18 years. Dan has his own body shop business, Muha's Custom & Collision, for 25 years. She has 2 children, Joshua and Jessica. Josh loves cars and cartooning his own comic books. He works at a local restaurant and goes to NCMC. Jessica attends North Central Michigan College. Denise enjoys reading, crafts, hiking and riding horses. They enjoy living on their farm in the Petoskey area. They also breed, raise, and sell Labrador Retrievers for pets and hunting. |
