Join us for the 5th annual Bear River Crawl in beautiful Petoskey along the lake front supporting the Northern Michigan Cancer Crusaders. ( a non profit group that supports local families dealing with the hardships of cancer)
 

New this year is the addition of a 10 k race.  The race will begin in Bay Front Park in downtown Petoskey, and travel along the Little Traverse Wheelway.  The 10 K race will then travel up the scenic trail to East Park and return to the lake front.

If you are not a runner and would like to support the Northern Michigan Cancer Crusaders, we have pledge opportunities.  For $10, we will create a sign in support of a loved one that has been touched cancer.  A "In Memory of" or " In Support of" signs will be placed along the race course.



The Governor's Council on Physical Fitness, Health and Sports has endorsed the Bear River Crawl.  As a participant in this year's race (18 years or older), you will be eligible to register for the 2011 lottery to have an opportunity to be one of only 400 participates to run over the Mackinac  Bridge on labor day. If you ran in last year's race, you are eligible for the 2010 Bridge run.
